The most striking features of these products are their new gel structure and their innovative, horizontal airflow pattern.

In contrast to the previous, quite massive Air Release structure, this new gel design provides a multitude of little bulges with lateral holes permitting an even more effective, horizontally directed air cicrculation and increased shock absorption.

Besides creating a cushion effect every time they are compressed, the bulges generate a flow of refreshing air that keeps the back of the horse perfectly dry.

Moreover, the new open bulge structure will enable us to use less material, resulting in a substantial decrease of the gel pad weight (almost 20% less compared to previous Air Release pads).

This new patented technology will be applied to the three Air Release models from now on and we intend to apply it to a wider range of gel products in the near future.

The Acavallo Respira Air-Release Gel pad cut out sheepskin, combines the non-slip and shock-proof properties of Acavallo traditional pads with a new innovative structure of the Gel and a partial sheepskin coating on the lower part.

The special and innovative structure of these pads shows a multitude of little bulges with lateral holes permitting an intense, horizontally directed air circulation. Besides creating a shock-absorbing cushion effect every time they are compressed and released, the bulges generate a flow of refreshing air which keeps the back of the horse perfectly dry.

The pad, in the lower part, is partially covered with Acavallo Sheepskin, a natural material that does not cause allergies, very soft and delicate, and perfectly suited to prevent chafing, abrasions and blisters.
The benefits of the Sheepskin, combined with the Gel, allow to give a great boost from the aesthetic point of view to the traditional pads Acavallo in Gel.

The Acavallo® Classic Gel is hypoallergenic, non-toxic and does not react negatively in contact with the skin, characteristics that allow the pad to be used directly in contact with it.
The Gel can also be cut and then adapted, if necessary, to each type of saddle.
